The people have spoken.....and we listened!
Since the release of our R8 kit customers have asked for the same performance coil but in a lower mounted package. The traditional R8 coils are tall, thus requiring a cover plate to neaten up the look of the install (covering the rocker valley). Well no more!
GFBDevelopments has now released the R8 low mount kit.
The kit is fully plug and play like you'd expect from us, sporting coils capable of well over 600BHP
Harness long enough to tuck and neaten up any engine bay.
Coils come installed with a sealing ring to stop any dirt ingress.
Perfect for any level of build (Turbo or Supercharged)
This kit paired with a standalone will enable you to run more boost without suffering from spark blow-out which tends to happen on the stock coil packs. You will also be able to run Sequential fire of the plugs, instead of the wasted spark setup usually ran when OE.
These kits are tried and tested on all of our forced induction MX5's, ranging from 390 to 525BHP.
All our kits are insulated to protect the wiring and your rocker covers.
4x NEW COPs (Coil on Plug) (Shorts).

Please note you MUST be running either the ME221 Revision 2 (White board) or the ME360/442 ECU or MS3Pro PNP (MUST BE PRO) or DIY-EFY CORE4 Speeduino.
